31 for 31 will be a charity event honoring the men of Extortion 17, with all proceeds going to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The event will be August 3 from 9-9 at Valhalla Tattoo and Gallery, Southern Pines. All of the shop artists are participating that day to give the 31 tattoos to tribute the lives lost on August 6, 2011. Original artwork representing the tragedy will serve as the select flash for the event and will be posted shortly. If you would like to participate, please call Chad at the shop (910.246.1559) as he will be booking the one hour time slots on a first come basis. The donation minimum for tattoos that day will be $100, all money donated given to SOWF. We will also have a limited number of event T-shirts that will be a $31 minimum donation, again, all money donated to SOWF. Social from 8-11 will follow at the Jefferson Inn to include a private room and food and open to all of the day time event donators. Our hearts are saddened, yet honored to have the opportunity to remember these men, their sacrifices and the families they have left behind. Hope you can make it!
