31 Tattoos in Memory of the men of Extortion 17

8 August 2015 Valhalla Tattoo and Gallery (Southern Pines NC) will host our 3rd annual charity event to remember the 31 lives lost on 6 Aug 11 when the CH-47 they were flying on was shot down in Afghanistan. Often it is referred to by the Ch-47s call sign, Extortion 17 and was the highest single day loss of life to US forces in Afghanistan. It holds a place near and dear to our hearts and we are honored to remember those lost. ALL money from the event will be donated to Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Breakdown of the event on August 8:
9 AM - 8 PM Valhalla Tattoo and Gallery
- tattooing/open door for anyone who wants to come out and donate $31+ for a limited print shirt and private party entrance wristband
9 PM - 2AM The Bell Tree Tavern
- private after party for anyone who either got tattooed, donated $31+ for event shirt at the day's event or wants to donate at the door. Live music by Autumn Nicholas. A portion of bar sales will also be donated to Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Tattoing Details:
We are working on this years flash for the tattoo event, and should have pictures available by Friday 31 July. We will take appointments on a first come first serve basis when the flash and prices are finalized.
