Artist Statement:

I am a collector of vintage film cameras; fascinating assemblies of lenses, shutters, springs and gears built to collect light, to fix moments in time that would otherwise fade from memory. When I use these vintage cameras to photograph the world around me I create modern images that appear already lost to time.
I am also a collector of film itself, the half used rolls left in old unwanted cameras, abandoned snapshots, and discarded vacation slides. What I hope to share here is some of the wonder and magic I find in these objects, tiny windows into memories, recent and long forgotten.
