WHO ARE WE?

We are a member driven art co-op gallery located in Grand Junction, CO. All artists share the responsibility of working in the gallery, paying dues and jury in new members. We have developed several membership levels to choose from in order to meet a variety of artists needs. We do not take work on consignment, the artists are in charge of their art. All artist pocket 100% of their sales and pay no commission fees for works sold. Member dedication to making the gallery a success is of the utmost of importance.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Respectful, talented artists, driven personalities, inspirational visionaries. People with a love for art and creativity. Most of all, artists that want to work in conjunction with other artists to succeed. “BE UNIQUE, BE SEEN, BE KNOWN”

WHAT IS OUR HISTORY?

In 2008, Justin Nordine left the teaching industry to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. His first stop was becoming a tattoo artist and opening up a unique tattoo studio that changed the face of traditional tattoo shops. The Raw Canvas Custom Tattoo Studio has become one of the top tattoo studios in Grand Junction in just under two years. The Raw Canvas Gallery was created to be a co-op style art gallery that will blend the tattoo world with the fine art world. The gallery will focus on the unique, contemporary artist looking for exposure, while providing unique gallery openings for the viewing public.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

NO COMMISSION FEES, artist receive 100% of their sales, Amazing downtown location, 12 First Friday Art Openings, 6 art member exhibitions per year, a 80 square foot wall space, total artistic expression of your space, marketing and promotions, web exposure; art pages, photos, etc., continuous exposure; 6 days a week, and unique first friday art openings.
