Cancer Benefit For Heather Cline

Start: April 16, 2016, 6 p.m.

Event at Black Lotus Custom Tattoos & Body Piercing

In November 2015, Heather Cline was diagnosed with Stage IV Small Cell Lung Cancer. A local cab driver with 23 years of experience, Heather loves her chosen profession. She has been a driver for three companies, spending the bulk of her career with CTS taxi, where she was designated as driver number 59.

She has written cab stories of her more memorable rides, including a real life story that resulted in helping bring a murderer to justice in 2007, when the Chief of Police presented her with a Citizen Service Award.

Armed with a positive attitude and strong family genes that helped 6 of her 12 siblings beat cancer in its various forms, Heather is determined to be the 7th. Although hospitalized twice with complications from chemotherapy, she is currently finishing chemo and has upcoming treatments for radiation to the lungs and brain scheduled before summer.

Please join family and friends in an effort to raise funds to help Heather maintain her independence through this challenging time. There will be rotating DJs, a bake sale, a silent auction, and a Chinese auction. There will also be various Tournaments, including Euchre, Magic The Gathering, Mario Cart and Pool. Any and all donations to this benefit are greatly appreciated.
