Abstract statement: Tim and Chris Zlatic have a collaborative practice involving shared space, shared genetics, shared history, shared influences, connectivity, and a shared experience of becoming. Their work is derived from individual and shared personal narratives relative to broader social themes. They consider the activity that takes place in the spaces where they work, the exploration of the themes and identities in the work, and the exchange between author and audience to be a process of reterritorialization, a concept that currently has heightened significance for the brothers.
