Death Becomes You: A Visual Tribute to SUNN Closing Reception

An international body of work inspired by Doom Metal icon SUNN O))) will be ending its exhibition at Eridanos Tattoo and Gallery Saturday, April 15th with a closing reception 8-11 PM.

The exhibit,“Death Becomes You,” was initially as a visual component to SUNN O)))’s performance at the Coolidge Corner Theater March 16th. The show was moved to Eridanos Tattoo & Gallery, where it has been on display and will be inviting the public to an opening Closing Reception April 15th to meet the visual artists and view the pieces for one final evening.

“My piece is inspired by Aghartha; which I see as being about the death of an old world and creation of a new,” says artist Joe Gettler of Boston, “To me (SUNN) is music that really hits with proper impact when you are completely present and listen for every subtle change.”

While SUNN O))) will not be performing, you will have the opportunity to check out the art show component created in their honor, meet many of the artists involved, and enjoy some light refreshments.
