Opening reception displaying the art of Charles Buechner throughout the month of March.

Charles started Doom Toons in February of 2017 because he wanted to create his own clothing line and a platform for sharing his art with others and friends. The majority of his work is inspired by the comics that he grew up with like Hellboy, Judge Dredd, and The Goon as well as 80's action, scifi, and horror flicks. You can see visual aspects of these reflected in his work. Hardcore and underground metal is where Charles gets inspiration and themes for his pieces as well. The artist that really inspired him to start creating was Mike Mignolas work with the Hellboy series. Charles credits much of his work to this style of minimalism by using shadows and dark rigid colors to cast and create his characters and landscapes.
