"Before I start a painting, I never know what I’m going to do until I step into my studio and crank some metal. I usually just sit there for a couple minutes and rock out with myself while staring at the skateboard decks on my floor. I pick up a surface that speaks to me in that moment and paint whatever I feel like. Most of the time I feel like painting naked chicks and sharks. Why? I don’t know. Why do you like pizza? Because you just DO. Why wouldn’t you? Why is that even a question? I’m not trying to make a statement, I’m just doing what I feel like doing. Is anyone even reading this? Whatever. Boobies."
