Nora is a local artist from Charlottesville, VA and a Hoopnotica Certified Trainer, offering non traditional Hula Hoop Dance and Fitness Classes.
As a child she always dreamed of being a dancer. Dance was her passion, however fate had a different plan for her. Shortly after losing her father, she was diagnosed with a debilitating spinal disorder at 13 years of age.
While her dreams of becoming a professional dancer seemed out of reach, she turned to a different outlet for creativity and found a life of limitless possibilities through art, growing and evolving with every piece.
Nora started painting pet portraits which quickly caught the attention of many animal lovers, and more recently, ventured into more personal life inspired pieces.
You can see Nora's background in dance through the movement in her work and hopes to continue to study different genres of art, generating unique intimate pieces of herself on canvas. Commissioned paintings are available!
