April is Autism Awareness month! What better way to raise awareness of this ever growing population of folks and children with special needs than getting a great tattoo to show your support!

This topic hits home for us here at the shop as two of Marz's children are on the Autism Spectrum. On June 4th, he and his family will be participating in the Autism Speaks walk to raise funds for Autism awareness. Additionally, Chris's wife, Kristina, is a Special Education Teacher who has a focus on helping children with Autism. We have passion on the subject of Autism and want to do what we can to support!

All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Autism Speaks.

So Heres How it Works
There will be PRE-SELECTED DESIGNS. Pending on the turn out, we may not be doing any custom designs this day as the point is to tattoo as many customers as possible. Small changes or additions may be available for additional cost. For totally custom designs, it is best to set an appointment for another day when we can focus on attending to your individual designs needs.

THERE WILL BE RESTRICTIONS ON PLACEMENT, so dont be surpised when we say no to tattooing your neck/fingers/etc.
You cannot choose your artist and you CANNOT SET AN APPOINTMENT as it will be a first come first served scenario. As people come into the shop, we will add your name to the list and take your phone number. You cannot add a friend to the list who isn't there in person. After that you are welcome to leave and roam the city. We will be giving out Maps of Asbury Park which can get you a discount at some local businesses! We will call you 15 minutes before your turn and if you are not here we will take the next person in line. If you are on the list you will be able to get tattooed eventually, though we do end up getting backed up at times so people at the end of the list may not be getting in until very late in the night. Registration begins when we open at noon and ends around 8pm or whenever we decide we've hit our maximum.

Who is Working that Day
Everyone! StrangeBreu, Johnny, Matt, and Marz. You cannot choose your artist. it is first come first serve and people will be divided amongst whichever artists are available.

What Will the Designs Be?
Who knows, each of us will be making a sheet and we will all tattoo off of each other's sheets. Subject matter will obviously be focused on elements related to Autism and Autism Awareness. Designs will span diffrent styles so there should be something for everyone. We will be trying to accomodate custom requests and changes, within reason, however those are better for an appointment on another day so we can focus on tattooing as many people as possible Saturday to raise a good amount of money. The designs will be released the day of the event. We will not be posting full pictures of the sheets online.

What it Costs
Designs will be labeled for price, though there will be designs ranging from $50 - $200. That does not include tip. Artists will be making donations out of their take for the day so most of us will be taking home $0 for a long day of work. CASH is preffered.
