Select one of our pre-drawn paw print tattoo designs during our campaign week to help support the much needed Spay/Neuter Program of the local Swift Current SPCA! <3
Let's see if we can pass 2014's donation amount of $2000! :D
- NO APPOINTMENTS * WALK-INS ONLY * FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED * LINE-UPS WELCOME *
Our "Paws For A Cause" designs are starting at only $60 each!! (+$7 Aftercare +GST) and we've added a bunch of new options for this year's event!
~ A portion of each tattoo's base rate will be going directly to the SPCA's Spay/Neuter Program! (2015's donation portion is $30+up/tattoo, depending on the design chosen)
Come support a great Cause with some affordable new ink! ♥
We'll also have an SPCA volunteer with some caged adoptables ON-SITE on Thursday afternoon, from about 3pm-7pm at a table in the common area of the Carmel Mall, who can provide info about the organization, fostering, volunteering & the SPCA's adoption process! :) Come say hi, and meet a new furry friend!!
To donate ITEMS, stop by on Thursday, any time before 7pm with any of the following current needs, or any other pet-related items:
Puppy and kitten dry food - preferably Purina One Smartblend
- Bleach
- liquid laundry soap,
- paper towels
- rubber gloves
- hand sanitizer
- garbage bags,
- large & small freezer bags,
- cotton balls
- cat & dog collars/harnesses/leashes
~Items can all be donated directly to the SPCA table~
If you'd like to financially support the efforts, but do NOT want a tattoo, no problem at all! :) Feel free to stop by any time during the event week to donate as little or as much as you'd like for our locked donation box, which will be calculated & added to the final donation amount to help boost 2015's numbers.
** From what we learned from last July's event, & to keep setups between clients as efficiently as possible, there will be no customizations done, names or lettering added, new design creation, or trying to make custom diy ink prints legible. The designs will be pre-stenciled without drawing time, and ready to place. This will help ensure we can get through the ques quickly, so we can hopefully get though most of the demand this year. We have tons of new designs to choose from in addition to last year's options, so there should be something for just about everyone. We will also be dedicating more chairs to the Event this year, so there will be more tattoo time available for it!
- PLEASE NOTE * - If you'd like a more custom paw design, we would absolutely love to help you out...but it would NOT be done for our discounted charity Paws For A Cause donation event & regular pricing would apply, with business as usual. :) Thank you for understanding.
Spaying & neutering helps fight pet overpopulation- Every year MILLIONS of cats, dogs and bunnies are euthanized, or suffer as strays. These high numbers are the result of unplanned litters that could have been prevented by spaying and neutering.
Shelters & rescue groups nation-wide are full! For every home born dog or cat you have to find homes for, a shelter or rescue animal loses their chance at a home. Shelter animals could face euthanasia as a result. (Luckily, our local Swift Current SPCA is a NO-KILL shelter, but THEY NEED YOUR HELP!) Getting a "free" puppy or kitten that you have to vet and neuter or spay yourself is MUCH more costly than the subsidized adoption fees you'd pay to rescue a deserving pet from a shelter. And when you rescue a pet you're not only giving your new pet a life, but you're also opening a space for another dog or cat in need to be rescued as well! ♥ Your donations help support the efforts of all the hard-working volunteers and give these loving animals a chance to know what a real home will feel like some day!
Your new ink will help keep adoption rates afordable, so this organization can continue to make a difference in the Swift Current area, which currently operates with NO federal or provincial funding.
