Pink Ribbon Tattoo Day!
Start: Oct. 28, 2012, 5 p.m.
End: Oct. 29, 2012, 3 a.m.
Event at American Made Tattoo
American Made Tattoo is joining forces with Blaque Owl Tattoo to show a united stand to support the fight against breast cancer. Both shop’s artists will be donating their time and proceeds from pink ribbons or other breast cancer related tattoos between 11 am and 9 pm on Sunday, October 28th at American Made Tattoo located at 234 West Front Street in Downtown Missoula.
All the funds will go to Tough Enough to Wear Pink, a local community support group for breast cancer patients and their families. According to the American Cancer Society, over 226,000 women will be newly diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States this year and over 39,000 women will die as a result of the disease. Cancer awareness is important because it can lead to early detection and the American Cancer Society believes that early detection saves lives and increases treatment options.
~A minimum $20 donation is required but a $50 donation is suggested.~
Breast cancer survivors are encouraged to participate and walk-ins are welcome. Our piercer, Robin Rose will be in to pierce as well if you want an adornment that is a little less permanent. If you purchase PINK jewelry with your piercing, she will donate the cost of the jewelry to Tough Enough To Wear Pink, too! You must be 18 years of age. See you there!
