Richard Alan Haugh Showcase

Our first solo show of the year will highlight the work of local, Richard Alan Haugh.

Richard has a degree in Commercial Art & Advertising and a BFA. There's many names for his style: Cartoon Realism, Pop-Surrealism, Lowbrow, etc. Characteristics of his paintings are women with big eyes, long thick necks and bodies slightly smaller proportionately. Some of his influences are Mark Ryden, Lori Earley, Tara McPhearson, Sarah Joncas and Kris Lewis. He was also very influenced by artists in magazines like Juxtapoz while in college and now Hi-Fructose. He mostly shows his work locally but has shown in LA, DC, Chicago, Baton Rouge, Orlando and at Art Basel Miami.
