Norman Keith Collins AKA "Sailor Jerry" was the most accomplished American tattoo master of his time with us. He did more for the ancient art of tattoo than any other single person. He searched and found pigments that were safe to use and expanded the artist pallet from three or four colors to an array of colors, he created a better power source, better machines, different needle configurations, and most importantly he spearheaded the introduction of single-service products and hospital-style sterilization into the business to prevent the spread of blood-borne pathogens. He demanded respect in life and we should give him Respect NOW!
