This studio is the private artistic environment for me to create artwork. I have been tattooing professionally since 2009, so I have over 7 years of experience in the tattoo industry. My creative background includes a degree in Graphic Arts, portrait photography, fine art exhibits beginning in 2005 in both Lincoln and Omaha. I attend tattoo conventions and seminars to keep progressing with my artwork. I just attended the Paradise Art Gathering in New Mexico the spring of 2014 which helped reignite my passion for painting with watercolors. Most of my free time is consumed with creating artwork, but I also love nature and animals, working out and playing in our garden.
This year I am focusing on tattoos that can be finished in one or two sessions. I have found that the larger designs I'm currently working on have to much lag time in between appointments to keep me creatively charged with interest in the piece. To avoid future pieces from becoming stagnate, I will ask for larger financial commitments for large-scale tattoo works, that way we can keep the tattoo artwork cohesive. As with any artist, we all like to see progression with our artwork. When tattoos span more than 3 or 4 years, its incredibly difficult to keep the artwork flow moving in the same direction.
